In honor of September, or Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I created this video to remind you that children get cancer too. 46/7 is not a "made up" number. It is true that 46 children are diagnosed with cancer every 7 days of each week, and these types of cancer vary despite a child's age or even his strength.

Hope is everything.
Awareness is important.
Keep the faith.
Go for the gold ribbon.

You say that your child doesn't have cancer, so you don't have to worry about this disease. Thank God! However, ask a parent of a child whose diagnosis is cancer, because they were never told before hand that their child was born to fight for his life. You see, cancer doesn't care if you are ready to fight; cancer has no worries if it takes a child's life or not. Even so, what cancer does not know is that we have a God who is greater than all disease, every sickness and all illness in this world. But we are God's servants created to sprinkle hope and light to a world of children suffering with this horrific disease.

Can you join with me? Are you prepared to be courageous for these kids? Because know this: These children have to be couageous without option. You have the option, but with the right choice you could save young lives.

Fight; Hope; Win with Jesus. ♥ John 14:14

  • who's the girl at 3.12?? Thank you... I lost my cousin, who was my best friend, from cancer six years ago.. and it is still killing me every single day... this video really, REALLY lifts up my spirit..

I am in tears right now. FIGHT CANCER.

  • @Princecaspiangirl That's Alena Marek! She's a great hero who is now in remission after a long and very brave battle against Rhabdomyosarcoma. Alena's CaringBridge site is AlenaMarek.

Condolences about your loss. I also lost my best friend, but not to cancer, to a car accident. Thankfully, despite the endless pain, I can be reminded through Christ that I will see her again.. as you will your cousin/bff. <3 Stay strong, and yes, FIGHT CANCER!

  • Thanks Hannah for thinking of those that must realize they will never be well and you continue to think of them after they're gone. The sadness in their eyes and their attempts at happiness in the short time they have left really hurts my heart.

  • So very touching!
