I am a hugh, hugh Donovan fan, saw him earlier this year in Monterey,California but did not know that he recorded this song. Where did you have a chance to hear it?
I know there is plenty of Donovan music on Youtube but could not find anything about Donovan singing this song even though there is plenty of obscure Donovan stuff on Youtube.

They closed the show with this on the reunion tour. Bert played it on guitar though.....he told me he just couldn't remember how to play the Dulcimer!
