Louis Vuitton Store Opening Aruba. Louis Vuitton has taken another step towards growing its presence in the Dutch Caribbean region by opening its first store in the heavenly island of Aruba.
Located in the heart of Oranjestad, Arubas capital, specifically at the Renaissance Mall, the Louis Vuitton storefront welcomes cruise ship visitors with its black and white signature façade. It is possible to catch a glimpse of the store interior through large windows that feature Louis Vuittons unmistakable symbol—the old monogrammed trunks, which rest on hanging metal structures that create a floating effect.
Once inside the store, one can appreciate that the layout has distinct areas in order to provide customers with multiple experiences. This is the result of an ingenious design that plays with different ceiling heights, shapes and diverse textures of floor materials such as limestone, wool carpets and aniegre —an exotic African wood. Also, a mix of noble materials including bronze stainless steel and the finest fabrics, helps express with a really avant-garde design, Louis Vuittons spirit of tradition, innovation and timeless sophistication.
Through its different configurations, the versatile project creates separate spaces for men on one side, women all around the store and a private central spot for the shoe section. Finally, after having taken a tour around the LV world in Aruba the customer can reach the shopping malls interior where the store signature façade will soon become a new landmark in this exclusive retail environment.
The store has been designed by the Architectural Department in Paris in collaboration with the Latin America Store Architecture Team. The store public area is 195 square meters and features leather goods, both men and women shoes as well as sunglasses.
