there's a 5v pin inside the controller, just solder the positive end of your LED to that. dont forget to use the right resistor or you will blow the LED. then solder the negative end of your LED to any ground in the controller.

i know the led has a poss. end and a neg. end. Do i solder the pos. to the +5v on the mem. card base? then solder the neg to the ground?
