Eels - Useless Trinkets Half Time Superbowl Ad (clip)

Did you see it? The 1 second Eels at at half time yesterday? If you missed it here it is again....

Mark 'E' Everett from the band The Eels plans to have the shortest Super Bowl TV advert ever. He aims to get a one second ad spot for the 'Useless Trinkets (B-sides, Soundtracks, Rarities and Unreleased)' album to air during the commercial break for the game in the US when it takes place on February 3rd.

TV advertising airtime during the Super Bowl comes at a premium with slots costing roughly $100,000 a second. E plans to have a five second advert he's had recorded saying the words "Useless Trinkets out now" cut down to just one second to fit into the proposed big game TV advert slot. A one second ad spot time will mean that only the first syllable will be broadcasted before it shifts to the next commercial.
