In the Ragnarok history Thanatos sealed Morroc in that Castle in the middle of the ancient Morroc City, so it means he owned thanatos....but it was a long time ago, the time changes everything, now Morroc is stronger and Thanatos is not a hero anymore ;)

Seal him as to exile him to a tower named after him, to forget his heroic act... Thanatos' soul, having recieved no grace, grew Despair (Despero), Hate (Odium), Misery (Maero), and Agony (Dolor). What's left of him is his Soul, a Memory, a Phantom of Death, who lives on the peak of his tower, he is the Memory of Thanatos (Thanatos Phantom)...

what a tragic/epic story... I kinda feel sorry for the guy.

if you read the Ragnarok Manga that was released waay before the Game, youll see on a volume that thanatos' story was included as a side story when he fought satan morroc 400 years ago, for 10 days and nights, then he ordered people to build a castle on moc_fild22 to keep surt (satan morroc's name) from escaping, unfortunately, the seal weakened and he eventually escaped, so its up to you and your party to seal him BACK !!

@warreyboy but it says minus - 30 flee minus 30 - defense makes you lose 1 sp every time you attack deals more damage depending on targets defense like what it says for an ice pick or rather thats what itd be if your server didnt give a shitty custom feature changing what the card does

Why is it that this boss is my favorite in the game?

Maybe the hair that reminds me of Minato.

Or the fact that he's named after the Greek God Of Death, Thanatos, who's the son of the strongest goddess in existance.

Or maybe it's just the BGM, I dunno.

Judging by where HW is, it would be harder to tackle HW mvp than satan morroc or any other MVP for that matter... not only her summon mobs' are strong, the surrounding mobs in bio 3 ARE already quite strong themselves and even when they are not MVP, big groups of them can easily slaughter and overwhelm careless parties... so i still agree with you the HW is indeed one of the, if not the, hardest MVP around... Plus her SG LoV and metoers really hurt...

@froakentoken2 You can bomb SM, you can't bomb High Wiz unless it property changes. High Wiz is also on the most hostile and difficult map in the game and can only be killed in specific locations where her mob can be neutralized. She's harder, even if it's not the case on paper.
