Anyone know where the voice sample in the background is from? I've always found it scary from the moment I first heard it when the album came out. The whole album is stunning - the best Stereolab album by far, in my humble opinion.

It is a real pity about Mary Hansen. Lætitia and Mary sounded like two angels. I am lucky to have seen them years ago in Toronto.
