Helloween Grapowski's Malmsuite 1001 (In D-Doll)

Yes that's the name of the song. This was written by Helloween guitarist Roland Grapow as an homage to Yngwei J. Malmsteen. It's a fine example of Grapow's technical prowess.

This track is available on the 1994 Castle Records version of Master of the Rings.
The Castle version has a bonus disc with this song and several others.

  • I was gonna learn this on bass guitar, but my bass held up a white flag before I even started.

  • @sonnic1995 The first time I heard it, my friend told me that the guitarist was purposely trying to make jokes about Yngwie's overcomplicated guitar playing. And it's kinda hard to explain otherwise due to a lot of inside jokes...

  • @slayermanbob why hilarious?

  • Very good guitar playing. Sounds real cool, but am I the only person who finds this hilarious?
