Are you using Mono for the Mac port of DLC Quest, or rewriting it?

@gameviewsnet I can't say for certain as I haven't played that game, but I do see a problem with the on-screen buttons. Every game I've tried that with has suffered from the lack of tactile response and slow button responsiveness if the system freezes messing up a jump I was doing. Plus, in that trailer you cited, it looked like exactly that happened to the guy demoing the game.
If a game is going to be approached on a touch screen, it needs a control scheme specifically for a touch screen.

You know once your game is on steam im going to have to buy a copy. JUST because you make these videos :D

Current college student hoping to be a future indie game designer in the future. Thanks so much for all the insight.

Keep it up! Very interesting series :) New and in the right amount of depth, I love it.

@Jakozk The question is, are the people who refuse to play a game if it's not on a phone worth the time to get the game on the phone? If they want to play the game, they can. And it could be a good business move to reserve the phone version for later so he has more cards up his sleeve.

@davidtraeger Thanks! I'm not sure if I mention it in the video, but Desura is definitely my first choice after Steam. And really, I think it's something I'll invest the time into regardless of the Steam outcome. I feel it has the most competitive offerings out of what I've looked at.

DLC Quest is XNA... Can you explain what you're doing in order to get it running on a Mac?

@MasterEvilAce I'm using MonoGame. You can read about it in more detail here: benkane [dot] wordpress [dot] com/tag/the-great-porting-adventure/
