  • yes she did in her early career in Paris

Tyra and Naomi both walked for YSL

  • Tyra Banks has walked for Mr Saint Laurent too! Where is that footage?!

  • I LOVE NAOMI

  • I think this is because you don´t try it. I understand you in part, because Gaultier looks for a different idea of beauty and style, but i think if you look for in Gaultier´s universe, you can find any garment to be wonderful wearing it.

  • Did you do that? I don´t know any lady as you, im´not so lucky, but know what are you talking about.I would love to know you!!! Azzedine´s style is very different, simply, but you have to recognise how he sudy and enhances women bodys. I understand why you miss Yves so much. But i think you could wear

Gaultier´s or AlaÏa´s garments feeling really great.

  • Do you know any "ladies"? Azzedine's clothing is much more wearable that Gaultier but their clothing does not live up to the glamour that YSL gave you. When you wore a YSL gown to the Scala opening or any of the seasons important events you felt so glamorous and above everyone else in the realm of fashion. I'm not saying he has to be replaced, he could never be replaced, but I've never felt better than when wearing one of his creations.

  • And why do you think Yves has to be replaced? Even Gaultier adores him. Saint Laurent is not between us now, but Gaultier is not guilty of that.

  • My god, you are so lucky. I wish could witness one of that fashion shows once in my lifetime. Maybe you don´t realise the oportunities you have. You think i don´t know what you say when you talk about real ladies, but i know it, i understand you but you not me. Alaïa and Gaultier are the couturiers of this age and make wearable garments to "all kind" of ladies. Today, democracy rules.

  • I've seen Gaultier show's. I was at the 08/09 Autumn Hiver Gaultier Couture show. I've been at almost every important show since the late 60's!!!! I've been around fashion for most of my life and I most likely will never see another genius like Saint Laurent. Yes I know who Alaia is!!! Azzedine is a very nice man but not one of my favorite designers. What you dont realize is there will always be real ladies who need to look like ladies and dress to their station.

  • What you say is simply dogmatic.
