  • The answer to the question is obvious: Not everyone has a Passport or a driver's license. Or, they may forget it at the voting booth, or, it could be expired. That shouldn't negate the right to vote in this country. I ran across this video because I was curious to know if an old friend is still in the government. Richard, I'm glad you're still there in the Texas House and I'm proud to call you a friend.

  • I appreciate your sincere speech but I'm still not clear on how a photo ID can be compared to the poll tax and how proof of ID will keep some from voting. Could you please clarify this for me?
