Planica 1974 - Walter Steiner 177 m WR fall

March 1974, Planica K163, Walter Steiner jumps 177 m - 8 meters longer than WR but just failed to stand. Taken from the Herzog's documentary "The Great Ecstasy Of The Sculptor Steiner" but obviously recorded with official Planica camera.
The new Ski-Flying hill at Planica was built in 1969 and has since then been modified 4 times:
for 1985 - 194 m ('87) longest jump
1994 - 212 m ('97)
1999 - 225 m ('00)
2003 - 239 m ('05)
This is the original version of the hill. Bogdan Norcic jumped 181 m in 1977 but also fell, while the longest legal jump before the 80s modifications was Klaus Ostwald's 176 m leap in 1979.
