@jonnyk5614 You sound like "disgusted from Tunbridge Wells" :). The fact is, for huge numbers of people, this piece was the highlight of the service, and it moved them deeply - one only has to look at the thousands of really quite moving comments here and elsewhere from people whose musical tastes don't usually include church anthems. If a composer communicates, evokes deep emotions, on such a vast scale as this, then that's a true musician.
