im having trouble uploading videos from my sd card to windows movie maker. the computer only reads the card as audio. how can i change the format??

my computer froze we i did tht and wen it didnt froze, it import pictures but wen it gets to a video file it stops it just stays on the loading thingy and i waited for an hour thinking it was just slow ended up it just stuck on there!

@MusicLyricsManiac I don't know why this is happening, it could be an autoplay error. Have you seen my latest video? It has another way of uploading your vids. Check it out and see if that helps

Hi
I need help windows movie maker does not want to see the video I had to change it to avi which screwed up my movie and put into slow motion I really have a hard time and I have to use the cord to attach to computer once doing so I cannot direct to the file I want cant figure it out HELP

@Haddy242 Avi tends to not be the best format to convert to. I've actually tried that format as well, the reason however I cannot remember. I'd try a different one if I were you. Can't hurt right? Windows Movie Maker's accepted formats are .asf, .avi, .dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv. I'd try .wmv as a first guess, but anyways I hope the best for you.
