leigh allen was always the suspect, the don cheney thing was there to provide a way for the forensic proof to not point to allen. They suggest that allen used cheney to unknowingly mail the letters. they allude that cheney hasn't come forward with this because he could get into trouble. That or Cheney was an accomplice

I'm quite confused as well. But I think that's what they were going for when they made this little documentary. The intrigue of the whole Zodiac subject is the mystery behind it. The fact that there's still no identity of the killer makes it all the more interesting.

Ralph Spinelli was a wannabe gangster. He wanted to be Michael Corleone. In reality, he was just a punk and a liar. Listening to him and Don Cheney makes me wanna shake my head in disgust. Arthur Leigh Allen was a pedophile, he was genuinely hated by everyone and it was simply too easy to blame him for this.

I love all the excuses people make for ALA, saying he didn't lick his own stamps, he foresaw DNA years into the future etc,. The buffs try so hard to fit a round peg into a square hole. The palm prints taken from authenticated Zodiac letters did not match ALA, the left and right handwriting samples did not match ALA and the stamp DNA did not match ALA. What more do you want??? Alot of the so called facts from Greysmith linking ALA are false and exaggerated. It's time to move on ALA accusers!!
