Are there different workstations in the HP Z family? I know for what I do I would not need a server or anything to make a SHREK type movie. I'd need a computer that would be able to handle without lag/long render times FCP, AE, Motion, Combustion.. programs similar to those. It's mainly ENG or Documentary styled shooting we do at the office. Thanks for any info.

I've been editing on an Apple for the past 7 years. After he said what he said just after 4:29 I got excited. I'm going to suggest to my management that we go HP the next time our budget allows. All I ever do is wait for renders with Apple. They tout real time, but it's only real time if you're working with DV on two video tracks only. After Effects, forget about it. If you want to work on an AEP then it had better be a short segment if you don't want to wait on lags and renders.
