So by your reasoning...Haku is a "girl" because he looks feminine when picking herbs, didn't go around half naked with his chest exposed, and was in love with a man?
Look, Haku is a boy. He dressed like a girl because it made people underestimate him when he was fighting. Lots of boys in anime are feminine, that doesn't mean they're girls.
