  • do you know how durable these are or if they have some critical flaws to them

  • @annilator666 I'm pretty sure they are strong/ milspec... they were designed for the military and for use in sandy/dirty environments. The release button on the top acts as a plunger to push out debris that may stop the buckle from opening and closing. They are NOT designed to be load bearing and support body weight etc. Only use them for attaching gear and other light equipment.

  • Nice video! Because of your video on the Streamlight TLR-3 and Nutnfancy's video I picked one up today. LOVE IT! I payed more than I should have, but I like to support local business when I can. Thanks for all the great videos! Oh, how come you didn't respond to the message I sent you?

  • @emathew3 Thanks for reminding me. I just wrote back to you.

  • hi i play paintball and my vest didn't come with a d-ring so i could attach a lanyard to it to help carry my gun. do you think that that d ring can hold the weight of a 7lb gun. thanks.

  • Nice invention, I buy mine for $1.50 each no tax & free shipping online at BOTACH.

I like that it take a little work to get it on... means it won't fall off.

  • The difficulty of fitting this is very reminiscent of some of the steps required to build PLCE webbing, for some parts of which I did basically just get some pliers to force things into place. Nice video

  • @annilator666 they were originally made for us Marines to easily attach our hydration systems to our mtv, iotv they have a safety feature and will disconnect at or around 60lbs of force

  • I would clip the grim on the inside so if they do fall off, they fall off in the pocket...just a thought.

  • i dont have much experience with these things, but if the strap is tough enough some pliers might make it easier to put in

  • I never minded things being tough to put on, as long as it is specified for use. Hard to put on means hard to loose/come off. Seing how hard that was to put on made me want to get one. I will have to research how strong the break away strength of the pivioting arm is.
