Ipod Classic 120GB Hard Drive noise.

My Hard drive makes weird noise and has made it since the day i bought it.
Is it suppose to make these noises?

Listen, I bought my 120gb recently for my birthday, and it makes THE EXACT same noise when i browse through my pics. 

I've been looking online, and supposedly it's normal - and if you take to the store they'll just either give you a refurbished one, or will tell you that it's normal.

sucks, i know.

but w/e.

I'm still in love with it. Just hate the stupid sound it makes.

yea iv been on apples ass about it and they got me a new one after like 9 emails lol.

this one hasent started to make the noise but because i run track and i use this when i run im pretty sure its gonna start mkaing it again.

I called apple about mines and they told me to go ahead and send it in. That they'll repair it or they will send me another one.

A few days after I sent it, they sent me an email saying that they failed to reproduce the sounds i told them about AND THAT THEY'RE SENDING ITBACK TO ME!!!

Oh, well. I guess its normal with classics. People say theirs' clicks and they just ignore it, so i guess that's what i'm going to do.

the clicking is nothing to worry about, i'm starting to understand..

it's when it gets really loud or you can start feeling it spin is when there is something to worry about.

i can feel mine start up and stop but thats it. im expecting it to do that sense i run track and run alot with it

don't shake it!!! this moves the heads and platters, causing the hard drive to fail. shaking it will destroy it. I tried it, and my hard drive nearly failed, i got a screen with a big X in a red circle telling me the apple support website.

my iPod classic, when it loads up a menu or coverflow it make a weird bleeping sound? anyone know anything bwt it?

this realy Sucks !!!!! man i got this too in my 120GB classic !! i saved him very good but after 2 years he dead ! the hard drive dead !!!
