Evans drum head stress test!

Before I used the drum heads on the road I decided to give the a good beating at home. I chose the heaviest sticks and played as hard as I could. They held up well but I was able to put the ahead aluminum stick thru the snare head by the end of the day!

I love evans...Never had a problem...Ever!

but I will say that I like the way they sound on maple much better than birch. I still haven't had the chance to post new videos with the mic's but you can hear the difference between the two.

I find I play with both. It comes down to laziness, if I have on shoes ill keep them on but if there off, they stay off.

I do like the feel of playing with only socks.

evans don't sound too well on acrylic either. I think maple is the best for evans.

the hardware and pearl tom mounting systems is part of the reaon why i bought a pearl masters mca over a tama starclassic to be honest, but they both sound great with properly tuned heads

Evans drumhead already test by Morgan Rose, he is heaviest Evans product hitter and he say Evans is awesome, and he hit harder than you 10 time!
