This was one of the better moments for the President, who came off looking professorial, but with the added credibility and command that comes with four long years in the Oval Office. In the first debate, Obama seemed to be playing cat and mouse with Romney so he could pounce in the 2nd debate (after Biden got in his punches of Ryan), and he thought Romney would come off looking weaker than he did. Obama also wasn't willing to take on Romney's constant interrupting until this second skirmish.

Romney is actually right. The oil companies should be able to sit on their oil until it's profitable. That ensures a steady supply of oil rather than a big spike followed by a big drop. Obama's arguments sound great to an economic illiterate.
