I never said I was going to stop buying Marvel comics altogether. I'm dropping Amazing Spider-Man. And after 25 years of collecting that book, it sucks to do that.

Easiest solution to this problem , stop buying ALL Spider-man books and keep complaining and the loss in sales will make Marvel fix the books .

@williamthemighty The comic industry is dying anyway man, the only thing saving marvel now is their films. I hope the stupid retcon that is OMD and BND is retconned so that the status quo returns to Spider-Man, one of the greatest super heroes of all time.

@RichYan33 Spider-Girl is WAY bttr in terms of character consistancy. Also...its just...its just more fun. I haven't seen decent fight scens in comics 4 yrs except in S-G.

I mean, the first new story arc included a story with the mob....the best Spidey stories have NOTHING to do with the mob. Spidey is not really a mob-fighting super hero. Leave that to Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist, Punisher. Spidey fights guys in ridiculous costumes. That's his thing.

One More Day was awesome, right up until the conclusion. I loved see Spidey swing into The Raft, unmask in the black suit and the beat the living shit out of the Kingpin. I mean, that wasn't a fight, that was just a straight beat down. We so rarely got to see that side of Peter because he's the light-hearted/joking super hero but it was great to see that even he could be pushed to the point that he would do things he normally would never do. Brand New Day....SUCKED!

It was shit. Marvel is getting pretty fucking stupid lately. I also hate the Ultimate line which the push non stop. Why would I want to read about the fake X-Men fake Spiderman and fake Hulk when I could read the real X-men, Spiderman and Hulk? Then in the REAL universe they do some shit like Amazing Spiderman 545. Turning the real universe into shit. Why not do that shit in the Ultimate universe nothing in that universe matters.
