Steve; Your voice gave me goose pimples and shivers all over. When you hit those high notes I was welling up with the emotion of your pure tones. Please dont give up. Those producers who did the auditions should be smacked upside the head for letting a Great Canadian talent slip away while putting some talent-less nobrainer humour act in a spot (that should have been yours) for what they think is the sake of the almighty ratings. Steve I've been trolling Youtube, listening to CGT hopefuls and I've basically heard a lot of people really slaughtering this song. Not you bro! This was really good. It's probably the best of the CGT Hallelujah covers I've heard. Great voice, great arrangement - you're making it your own - good balance on the sound, and good production quality. It's a great package and I honestly think you'll do well.
