project i completed in about 2 hours just to see if i could pull in some stations 50 miles away with a homebrew antenna

  • yes uhf only being 50 miles east and west for tv stations it did a fair job of pulling in the fringe stations and right now they are running low power ! i should of got a better shot of the antenna

    The antenna seems nice (I assume UHF only right?)

    But the video shows a perfect example of the benefits of DTV (And why the switch ought to have happened years ago)

    DTV receivers seem to have a much easier time getting the "good stuff" this is because it usually either works great or not at all. So no snow or other junk.

    Even tho it is going to be a nightmare for grandma to figure this out. It really will benefit the nation.
