It agree. I didn't see the original production, but I saw the UK Tour and it was a great show. Never understood why it wasnt' a big success.

I'm surprised that this musical didn't do as well as Saigon and le mis. There is some great music in this. I recall seeing a production back at the Music center in LA and really liked it. Of course at that time i think they were doing re-writes and tweaks to the show, My girlfriend at the time had a friend in the production singing as the priest.

Matthew Cammelle and Joanna Rider sing beautifully as the romantic leads. I highly recommend the CD of this production!
