was the monkey really stupid? hahaha. anyway, dun really remember superman using much of his robots in the silver age, jz remember this once where they went rogue and started attacking him

in the figure you picked up, did the shoulder joint on the left arm give you any trouble?
mine was very loose, and in fact has fallen off once or twice.

I was about to bash you for being too young to appreciate Beppo (who you callously refer to as "the stupid monkey") but it has nothing to do with age. I wasn't alive when Beppo was in the comics, but I can still appreciate the charm of the era that led to Krypto, Streaky, Beppo, and Comet. Sure, only Krypto works these days, but these characters are still neat due to their innocence.
I do agree with you about this figure being the "Superman Robot." Horrible waste of a re-release.

Well this superman if I remember right was able to breath in space and was strong enough to move small moons, I can see why they relaunched the comic in the 80s though because the first Superman got to the point that no one could really pose a threat to him
