John ("Otter") Stratton is a young American fighter pilot who flies the F-15 Eagle. His grandfather was a decorated World War II flying ace, and he intended to follow in his footsteps. Red Flag is the final training for pilots and their aircrews before being sent into actual combat. We follow our young pilot as he makes his way through this extraordinary event held in the desert of Nevada.

fuck im so pissed! This is probably the best air to air documentary FUCKED UP completely by CGI, fake explosions, fake dogfight shots, and fake acting...what a waste! It couldve been the best by keeping it real and unfiltered!

They need to get rid of the CGI on board shots and replace them with the real thing but the biggest problem with this film is that it should have had more dynamic maneuvering dog fights. Most of the shots of the F15's were just casual flight. I want to see an F15 banked over on the deck after an F18!
