AA is full of people who are willing to give their power away to others so they don't have to take personal responsibility.And there is an equal number willing to take their power,usually they have made a mess of their own lives and get off on running other people's lives.I heard a speaker who said she turned her decisions over to her sponsor who told her anyone would make better decisions about her life than she could make.And professionals continue to push this unhealthy group on their clients

I know of sponsors who use sponsees as cheap labor. Mow my lawn and stay sober. I know of a guy who said " My life is none of my business " A dumb idea. Then I found a tape made by someone else who first said it. Stealing others "material" ? Pitiful.

The case I'm trying to make is this....if you don't get a good vibe from the person, don't go with him. I went nearly a month before picking my sponsor, and I did it with someone who not only reached out to me in a kind way, but with no pressure, and he's there to guide me on the steps, not to indorctrine me. Does it happen? Sure, but don't blame the whole tree becuase a couple of apples were bitter.

All I got from this was 'I didn't like my sponsor, so I made this video'. As far as "the sponsor picked me' nonesense, you have the ability to say no. I recently had one person try to poach me from my sponsor because I wasn't doing the 90 in 90..not someone I want in my corner, thanks. I was getting pressure from this same person to get a sponsor, and I had a suspision that he was trying to get me to be his sponsee, and I wanted someone who was reasonable, and like minded.

@WarInBed That is all you got because you are slow. I would say more but my mom raised me right so I don't pick on the slow ones or issue death threats to people who disagree with me. Unlike you culties. I can say your assumptions are stupid and so far off as to not even be funny.
