At about 1:15 the way Lorretta talks, you can see where sissy might have gotten her voice inflextions like when she was giving her first voice internvew on the radio station in the movie. "...we begged him and begged him..."
Love you, Lorretta

OWEN IS RIGHT, SHE IS LIKE THE FEMALE VERSION OF HANK WILLIAMS.
LORETTA LYNN IS A GREAT SONGWRITER. THANKS LORETTA.

@bestworldsthe If you are speaking of "Wings Up On Your Horns" She is singing about giving into the Man She was in love with, and he then rejected her. She was innocent until he took her innocence away, and then basically dumped her, because she gave in. That is the way I always understood it, and I remember hearing her sing this song on the Wilburn Bros Show, when I was 10 or 11 years old.

This is my great grandmother (:

@hotdog4sex I know, right? Coal Miner's Daughter was so much better than Sweet Dreams, though I do love Ed Harris. Also Sweet Dreams was all lip synching, and in CMD Sissy and Beverly did their own vocals.
