!! - SAFETY CONCERN: During the side impact test, the struck side rear door became unlatched and swung open. To address this safety concern, Mitsubishi initiated a customer satisfaction campaign described in Mitsubishi Technical Service Bulletin SC-07-002, whereby owners of a 2008 Mitsubishi lancer built before May 11, 2007 can get this service performed free of charge. Vehicles serviced in line with the campaign will have the same level of safety as those vehicles built after May 11, 2007.
Side crash test results are valid for model year 2008 vehicles produced before May 11, 2007
