  • KYW Philly aired Evening Magazine from the late 70s-1992 at 7:30PM, KDKA aired Evening Magazine at 7:30PM in the 80s(forget what years). JIm Caldwell of Tic Tac DOugh and infomercial fame hosted the NYC Pm Magazine at one point. Nancy Glass hosted the Philly version at one point(later of American Journal). Bill Hillier, who later collaborated with WInk Martindale on Why DIdn't I Think of That and Trivial Pursuit and the other FAM interactive games, co-created PM Magazine.

  • Not to be outdone, Jill Rappaport would also find her way to Studio 1A as one of "Today's" Entertainment reporters for almost 20 years, as well as becoming an Animal rights advocate.

  • @VideoSurferClassic oh ok thanks :)

  • Sweet! Remembered this on 5 at 7:30 PM (and later WWOR 9 under the "Evening Magazine" moniker) Matt Lauer getting bitch slapped doesn't hurt either. Bonus mid-80s WNEW next bumper, sadly they were months away from being independent no longer.

SFM HOLDAY NETWORK!! WNEW was the network in New York for that, featuring the MNF "Heavy Action" theme from Johnny Pearson!

Loved these commercials too! Newmark & Lewis! Pergament! Caldor! Always went to the Trader Horn on Route 17 Paramus for new TVs!
