  • Nice! Iam an engineer for metra. I could give you a S&HC sometime.

  • @zirathekillerlioness That would be cool! Unfortunately, this was taken on a trip toChicago, I live in California. But I really enjoyed it and would like to go back some time. I'll let you know if I'm in the neighborhood.

  • B/O...

  • Haha, it's ok. I thought so too, but I guess we were both wrong! The "screamers" are usually the true F40PH's, like this one.

  • Woops, spoke too soon. Was just at the San Jose Caltrain/Amtrak station a couple of days ago and as a commuter set headed by Caltrain F40PH 902 pulled in, I was surprised to hear the high engine rpm remain constant as the train slowed to a halt.

  • Interesting. The HEP generator is still being driven by the prime mover, like the old Amtrak units.

Out here, all of the Caltrain F40s have all been upgraded, and the roar of the engine as it slows into a station is, sadly, a thing of the past.

  • I think if you look, there may be an option when you have a clip selected that says "freeze frame" or capture picture/still" or something like that...

  • No I use iMovie

  • Do you have WMM?
