@fobialmiedo For your 80's party?

Julia's rant would have made a perfect closing arguement for the defense attorney! I think Matlock has met his match!

Julia was always so beautifully dressed. I love her!

Dear god, that blazer, I need it in my life.

Does this scene take place before or after Charlene turns her in, because if she got in trouble when Charlene turned her in, Julia could get into more trouble for getting mad at the jurors.

I love it! Julia was not so much attitude as she was fair. You had to really do her or a family or friend wrong for her to go off like this. So when she did it, I was right there with her saying "you go girl" LOL Even when she went off she did it with class and dignity. ROCK ON JULIA SUGARBAKER! :)

They cut two great parts out of this - I know in the reruns they make them shorter for more commercials but why cut out tow funny parts of her tirade?
Janet the mime says she isn't comfortable making a decision yet and Julia responds 'Funny, but you are perfectly comfortable smearing your face with white grease paint and annoying pedestrians all over Atlanta!' lol
R.I.P Dixie Carter your style and attitude will be greatly greatly missed!

One of the best episodes of this series. And a hilarious scene. Love this so much.
One of the few 'grand dames' of television comedy, Dixie was unlike any other. As Julia she was a fierce and powerful force, yet still refined and classy. Many times during the series, her character seemed the sensible rock among a bunch of wackadoos. And once in a while she got to just reduce someone to smithereens with words. A pleasure to watch. Thanks for the big laughs, Miss Carter. They were plentiful.
