@mossbergtakedown I have an 03 cummins 2wd, the reason for buying it was to pull my camper and my boat. It pulls both like nothing, and still gets 20 miles to the gallon. So I guess it's not pointless to own a 2wd. If you know how to drive you don't need 4 wheel drive.

@mossbergtakedown Fleet trucks, like for city maintence, construction, or general work trucks don't need to be 4x4. If they never leave the pavement, you don't need 4x4.

you know i use to own a monte carlo z34 1996 and a cavalier and a silverado but where i live it gets cold. had buddies over all dodge fans all their trucks started when it was -15 with direct 30 wind chill. none of mine even turned after 5 hours of having them plugged in and battery chargers on them. needless to say that winter i traded my truck and my monte for a dodge.
