@lnd3005 Does that matter once you are an adult? Both my parents believe in God, I was taught Catholicism at school, and at age 13 I already realized that God didn't exist... and believe me, I'm no genius.... lol .... So, asking an adult if their parents were permissive on how to think to understand the reason of his belief I think it's not the right path... at least empirically. There are simpler reasons. Usually it's because it's beneficial (in one way or another)
