The Shawnee State University Virtual Design Lab is located in Second Life at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/WIRED%204/109/114/995. The size of more than four football fields, it houses hundreds of highly interactive art and design basics exhibits for our students. The more than 250 art works on the wall are all scripted to connect to internet info on the artist. In addition, there are buttons below most of the works that lead to videos by the artist or designer. The Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit has a teleport pad that takes your avatar to a full scale virtual Fallingwater at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/WIRED%204/101/142/1329 that you can explore inside and out. Immersive experiences map quite differently to memory (at more sites) so that the experience is not unlike visiting the site in terms of understanding the complex structure. Enjoy.
