I played this CD (one of the 1st CDs I ever bought) until it would not play no more...I wore it out!!! I can listen to some of these songs now and close my eyes and immediately go back to that time in my life in 1985/1986 in Myrtle Beach.

Simple minds along with many more bands have created the best music of the century . @MrTrecchina I pity the present generation, the generation of the "disposable". Cell phones, computers, cars, friendships, loves, values, all disposable. The present generation has everything that 80's generation hadn't. And the 80's generation has everything that the present generation hasn't. Starting with the music.

When I first ordered this album online I thought it was a compilation of the groups greatest hits (I thought it was the Glittering Prize Album for some reason) but I got this by my mistake. What a great album-all the tracks-it takes u to another time and place-tracks like Oh Jungleland and this one are some of the great tracks.

For me Once Upon A Time is Simple Minds at their prime. All songs drive me to another time, another place.
