@casestudyification I remember that!!! I was nine when I saw this movie at the drive-in theaters: my brother and I went to the bathroom after the movie was over and around the corner was someone in a Slithis costume! Scary shit!!

You have to see this movie only for Hy Pyke as the hammiest police detective of all time. He waves his hands, shouts, rolls his eyes and growls just when he's on the phone.

I saw it when it came out in the theatres. There was a guy in the lobby with a Slithis costume on. I now have the VHS. Funny, there is no scene with the station wagon going off the pier. If you're dying to see this movie, relax. It's lousy.

@PUNKem733 You could get away with a hell of a lot more in movies. Even Hollywood stuff like the original Walking Tall pushed the envelope when Joe Don Baker blew the bad females brains all over the screen, feminists must have had a field day.
