CEO Tech Forum 2009

FJohn Lutz, Managing Partner, IBM General Manager of Managed Process Services is giving a keyynote speech about technology and innovation at the CEO Tech Forum, sponsored by Blum Shapiro, Webster Bank, Wiggin and Dana, Fish & Richardson P.C. Designed exclusively for the executive management of medium to large-sized technology companies, this year's 2009 Blum Shapiro CEO Tech Forum was held on Thursday, July 23rd 2009 at the New Haven Country Club in Hamden. The 2009 BlumShapiro Tech CEO Forum took place on July 23, 2009, at the New Haven Country Club, Hamden.

Thirty CEOs from across the state enjoyed a day of golf and evening networking that included a presentation by John Lutz, General Manager of Managed Business Process Services at IBM and informative C-Level discussions. John talked about five themes or trends he has observed in the tech world he works in. A DVD copy of his presentation is available from CTC.

This annual event introduces the state's technology executives (CEOs and Presidents) to each other, to the Council and to the value of having access to ideas and resources that will make them more successful.

The 2008 CEO Forum took place on July 24, 2008 at the TPC River Highlands Golf Club. Though the Golf Outing was cancelled due to monsoon winds and rain, the attendance was great for the evening dinner and program. Featured speaker Barry Nalebuff, professor at the Yale School of Management, entertained and stimulated the audience with a motivational talk about innovation and rethinking and repackaging products. The 2008 event was sponsored by UHY LLP, Capital One Bank and IBM, and supporting sponsors, Pullman & Comley LLP and Webster Bank.
