My name is James Stutts, and I served with SSgt. Alva from 1996-1998 with HMH-769. We all knew that he was gay, but it wasn't anything we ever felt the need to talk about. He did his job, and was a good Marine. At the end of the day that is what matters. I do not support Obama. I believe that he is a progressive socialist. However, I do support the repeal of DADT. I believe that gay service members, like straight ones will keep their private lives private. If they don't the UCMJ will fix that.

im sorry i am in the marine corps and am stationed at campen .. i dont support being openly gay in the military.. keep it to urself.. i sacrifice too.. so y should we have it ur way..? and at that change isn't always good.. we all can't have what we want.. but we can have what WE need.. god bless and thank for serving
