Probably while waiting for something else in record-mode in '75, I did manage to keep this gutted-version of a 'Bicentennial Minute' on audiotape. At the time, it was never even meant to be saved, but, I did save it.

Now, given that the '74-'76 'Bicentennial Minute' series is hardly available, I did what I could to create some graphics to help this along, and post it anyway.

  • i recall these! cool you have it. you had a vcr is 76? rich! haha

  • I made the audio recording of this in April '75, and recently recreated a video track to go along with it. So, no, I did not have a VCR in '75 or '76. It took me a long time to save the money to buy our first VCR, and that day happened about 7 years after I recorded this audio.

  • Wow! This is really cool.

  • oh ok! good job!

  • It's nice that you added the CBS "eye" logo at the end, with long-time CBS-NY staff announcer Bill Gilliand giving the closing outcue, "This is C-B-S" ...

  • Ernie Anderson does the Shell plug.

  • Awesome. I remember those spots. 'haven't heard one since. Thanks.

  • I wish fellow Bostonian's would be patriots again

sadly today they are all self serving communists
