Nicaragua's Forgotten Coast

Slideshow shows just a bit of what Nicaraguans have gone through in the last several decades with an emphasis on the beauty of Nicaragua's forgotten Atlantic Coast. I compiled a bunch of images from the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua. It's okay if you don't agree with some of the political messages.. but please be respectful of the images of young children... I mistakenly deleted a comment about Nicaragua not having an Atlantic Coast but a Caribbean Coast - thanks for the comment and your partially right. The Caribbean Sea is a part of the Atlantic Ocean and I offered it as a contrast from the Pacific side.... anyway thanks for your comments :)

Be there next month, thank you for the pic's of the Atlantic zone, My face hurts from smilling, can not wait to see my 4 year old play with children, and explore a nation of poets, I am doing my happy dance.

Just moved to Puerto Cabazas last month. It's a HUGE change from being raised in Miami but, helping the people here is worth it.

I hate to see my coast being bombared with crack, I wish people had a chance for education and children can grow up the way I did when lived in Bluefields.

i love my atlantic coast BIG-UP TO BLUEFIELDS YO. i miss u so much i was cryin watchin this so sad that we have to leave our lovely home to live in another country just to survive (bluefields born and raise) although u r far away is like i can just closed my eyes and touch u
