Ronnie Lane's Appeal for ARMS - Action Research for Multiple Sclerosis

The ARMS Charity Concert was a rock concert given in1983 in support of Action into Research for Multiple Sclerosis. The idea for hosting the concert was envisaged by Ronnie Lane, ex-bassist for The Small Faces and The Faces, himself a casualty of multiple sclerosis. The concert featured a star-studded line-up of well known British musicians.

  • @maxieppower: Wrong, Jimmy Page was still on drugs in 1983. Clapton kicked heroin ten years earlier and was just getting sober from alcohol addiction.

  • Yeah, I got this entire concert on two DVDs, definetly worth what I paid for them. An awesome show everyone ought to own! And just look at what you are supporting wow.

  • If you mean the original Beatlees version then yes. But if you mean the original Joe Cocker version it was Page.
