Scenes from the night run at DVR on Saturday 22nd October. I arrived at 5:30pm, just before a storm hit.
This video attempts to capture the busy mainline railway atmosphere that this 7¼" gauge line has, with its Victorian railway signalling system, multi-platform station, workshops and many trains running.
The video begins with a trip behind 6A, driven by Dan GIlliland. About half way around, the storm arrives, and all passengers abandon the train as soon as it stops along the line. After a series of random run-bys and other scenes, another trip is taken in darkness, the LED signals lighting up the steam and mist along the way.
