You're Under Arrest! - Opening 1 (1st OVA) HQ Clean

This is the opening for the first You're Under Arrest! anime series. Originally these episodes were made as OVAs but after the creation of the TV series they were integrated to fit as the first episodes that explains the quality of animation and different opening and ending.

The song is "100mph no Yuuki" by Akiko Hiramatsu & Sakiko Tamagawa.

I have seen a lot of anime in my time, literally hundreds of hours. Having said that, the sequence of the plane flying over is my favorite anime scene.

@starlionblue Yea, if you watch the second opening song of the first season, you can see the significant changes of the art quality. But still i like the series :)

@KrazyKobun I would say YUA is more comedic slice of life than "hot police women saving the day" lol (actually, I never really thought of Natsumi and Miyuki as being hot, not nearly as racy as Dirty Pair anyway =P)

@starlionblue Yeah, what happened is that Animeigo released YUA by combining the four OVA episodes (disc 1) with the TV series (disc 2~13 I think) as a single release. I've got the OVA and I've considered getting the TV series as well, but when I saw trailers showing the significant difference in animation quality, I decided against it (I'm still interested, it's just a bit pricey right now :P).

@Kentama I hate to say but I have this on DVD and sadly, the quality of the animation gets WORSE with each episode. There are about 10 episodes in season one. When you compare ep one with ep 10, there is a MASSIVE difference in the animation. By the time you get to the second half of the season, the animation is pretty bad, as if they suddenly rushed it just to get it onto the market. I thought the studio didn't burn the DVD properly but this deterioration is in all of the sea 1 DVDs.
