This is the second part of a rod I am making. It includes node staggering, straightening, and flattening, bevelling, and heat treating.

  • Hello gmreevesrodco,

  • Hi there

I enjoyed watching this video. Great work, love it! Thanks! Now my question is: What are you exactly wrapping arround the stripes 5:18 to 6:15 is that just thread or is that a kind of wire? Do you use a weight to keep the thread tight? Did you fabricate that aluminium profile youre self or can I buy that profile some where?

    Greetings from Switzerland Mark

  • hey, some thing cool, if you have a cup of water thats heated to exactly 98.6 AKA human body temperature, and you close your eyes and put your hand or finger in, you WONT BE ABLE TO FEEL IT!!!! i thought of this when i was watching the tempering of the cane. lol

  • like what you are doing i am personally very interested in doing this sort of thing myself. you seem to be a good do it yourselfer so i am quite interested in seing how you do this.
