On March 6 and 7, Paul Niemi of Uncle Paulie's World attended the 2010 Heard Museum Guild's Indian Fair and Market in Phoenix. Over 700 Native artists attended, including Maria Samora of Taos Pueblo. Maria is known for utilizing contrasting metals in her work and she was also the featured artist on the 2009 Indian Market poster in Santa Fe. Niemi had the opportunity to interview Samora about her background, jewelry, and what effect having her work appear on the Indian Market poster has had on her career.
