Yea i can imagine the render time was a bit of a pain on a laptop. The general look of this render is really good though, the wind looks very natural. Im just starting to learn Vue myself as a tool for my matte painting workflow and the wind through the trees is something i definitely want to get to grips with soon. have you done any more renders since this?

no unfortunately not. I don't have another computer to do the renderings and i cannot have my laptop running 3 or more days just for renderings.I also need it for other programs.

Really nice job. The tree is very very convincing, the grass not so much so but it still looks very good. I think if the wind was a bit more randomised it would help a little, but this looks great!

I wasn't pleased with the grass myself. I forgot to adjust the width to make it more realistic to real grass.

Nice wind effects! I'm actually working on a similar animation myself using Vue 7 but I'm having issues getting this sort of breeze result... mind sharing what settings you used to achieve this animation?

Thanks for the comment. I agree the grass isn't that great. In pre render it wasn't so obvious. I should have adjusted the width of the grass first. It's too thick. But it took forever to render on my laptop so just kept it as is. Oh well, better luck next time.
