i had the worst shopping experience at target.i think ill go fill a cart and return everything hahaha.just try to talk to the store manager and u will find out everyone is a manager its like shopping at burger king.then go try to call their customer service,,,its off shore and if u can understand their english r a better translator than i am.im sure the woman who told me she was a team leader is not in charge of the store but she stuck up for the rude employee.

Layaway is for deadbeats. Sorry, but it's true. If you can't afford it, don't buy it.

Guest service desk is not large enough and our stock rooms not large enough for layaway. It loses money and if people don't want the item after awhile its a lost sale that could have been purchases right off the bat if it was on the shelf in the first place. We don't need layaway! - target team member

Layaway does not make the store money! The more product you have sitting on a shelf collecting dust as someone pays for it 15% here, 15% there is a waste of space and hours. The more product on the shelf, the more chance of someone else buying it. Just because you can manage your money or put it in savings is not a reson for having layaway

A layaway would make life even more horrible for the poor Guest Service people ;[ Then again, one time this lady who was doing her Christmas shopping got all made that we didn't have a layaway and left about three carts full of stuff for us all to put back...

Stores would rather you buy something with their credit cards NOW and have you pay it off that way and reap up interest on people's late payments.

yeah, as a super target employee I'd like to tell you that this request probably will not be accepted. even in super targets we don't have enough room to keep people's stuff in the back. sorry =)
