One of my favorite Jerry songs. Only jerry could make two chords over and over again so beautiful
This version is from the View From the Vault DVD if you are interested.
Also, this is not Brent Mydland's last show as a few commenters thought, Brent's last show was less than a month later though at the World Music Theater.

this reminds me of the first time i smoked pot. i smoked at night in toatal silence and then after it had fully hit me and i was tripping i lied down. listening to this song sending chillis through my body and taking my mind some place else. ill always be a dead head and a pot head :D

my husband and i would sing this song to our daughter to calm her when she was first born. now shes almost one and she still recognizes it. this is a beautiful song.

@blish101 the day Jerry died i was driving from toledo, oh down I-75. I was working so dressed in quite undeadlike attire - but it did not matter. i stopped for gasoline somewhere around Lima. Notice several cars at gas station were gathered in a corner of the parking lot. One of the folks lingering in the lot saw the small dead decal on my rear window. i drove to that corner. All were deadheads who had just stopped for gas and decided on impromtu memorial. 'strangers brought together
